User Manual & Radar Reading Guide

NeoWeatherwall is a high-performance weather radar visualization app for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. It renders live and archived radar with a custom GPU engine, overlays storm-spotter positions and reports, and gives you the tools to read what the radar is actually telling you.
This documentation is split into two parts:
- User Manual: how to use every feature of the app, including the interface, radar products, map overlays, multi-panel layouts, saved locations, Spotter Network integration, animation and archive playback, settings, and accessibility.
- Radar Reading Guide: how to interpret radar. A practical, plain-language primer on reflectivity, velocity, dual-polarization products, azimuthal shear, common storm signatures, and the artifacts and limitations every radar user needs to know about.
Start with Getting Started to learn the interface, then skim How Radar Works before a severe weather event so the colors and patterns make sense in the moment.
NeoWeatherwall is a situational-awareness tool, not an official warning source. Always follow watches and warnings issued by your national weather service and instructions from local emergency officials. Never use this app to place yourself in danger.
