WeatherWary LLC makes weather apps for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. We started to make radar apps for iOS in 2010. The apps show radar data, upper-air soundings, and tornado damage data clearly.
Zac Flamig, the founder of WeatherWary, is a meteorologist and software developer with a Ph.D. in meteorology from the University of Oklahoma. The work of Zac is about radar, precipitation estimates, flash-flood forecasts, and environmental data systems. It includes software development for the FLASH project of the University of Oklahoma and NOAA/NSSL.
This work has an effect on all of the WeatherWary apps. WeatherWall and Radar Mobile are for radar analysis on a desktop computer and outdoors. Soundings shows upper-air soundings, hodographs, and convective indices. EF Scale makes tornado damage indicators and expected wind speed ranges easier to find. We make weather software for persons who want to examine the data directly.
