WeatherWary LLC builds focused weather apps for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. We have been building radar apps for iOS since 2010, with an emphasis on clear access to meteorological data rather than broad consumer forecasts.
WeatherWary was founded by Zac Flamig, a meteorologist and software developer with a Ph.D. in meteorology from the University of Oklahoma. Zac’s work has centered on radar, precipitation estimation, flash-flood forecasting, and environmental data systems, including development work on the University of Oklahoma and NOAA/NSSL FLASH project.
That background shapes WeatherWary’s apps. WeatherWall and Radar Mobile support radar analysis on the desktop and in the field. Soundings focuses on upper-air profiles, hodographs, and convective indices. EF Scale makes tornado damage indicators and expected wind ranges easier to reference. The goal is practical weather software for people who want to inspect the data directly.
